TEMASCALCINGO

Temascalcingo is a beautiful place to visit or spend the weekend with the family enjoying the beautiful places that you can see the magic in this place called temascalcingo, my parents and I will give you some advantages to know the main avenues of the town because we think that is a wonderful place.

First one, my family use to start the tour, in the main avenue called Jose Maria Velasco, this person was an important painter in this region, he was born in temascalcingo, in Mexico people usually call the streets with the name of some character that was representative, that’s why people called the first avenue jose Maria vasconcelos, anyway, so in this place you can walk through its streets that i take a quiet walk to the center of town to admire the varied crafts and look at the San Miguel Arcangel cathedral , or enjoy the central garden with its traditional kiosk. While you are trying one of the best ice cream in the region. My family says that this best ice cream that they have proven, but you have the last word.

Some of my best friends say that the nature Jose Maria Velasco is the best option to visit. So this place is the most important and beautiful of temascalcingo where facilities will offer kiosks, tables and stone benches, grills, playground and a small pool to swim it is ideal for nature as you look cool and you live with the family. At Easter some people tend to come here to observe the panoramic view of the municipality and you can see the Lerma River.

Another beautiful place is the pastores waterfall, in my town, some people say that, if you visit this waterfall you'll have good luck in love.

So if you want a space to relax, when I was child my grandparents use to bring me to visit el borbollon that is a place with a hot spring. where curative properties many visitors say that the these waters are good for yourself for their high concentration of minerals, so it is recommended that you come to refresh your body and spirit.

Also when you visit temascalcingo you have to try the gastronomy so don’t forget to try the typical dishes: chicken chirrión, the minnows in green sauce with cactus, mole de olla with xoconostles  and leaves called cow tongues, tamales, atole, the puscua (corn drink ), the sende choo (another very traditional drink of mazahuas also made ​​with corn) and pulque

If you want to see a really party you have to come to temascalcingo to enjoy the Feast Of Corpus Christi that  is the most important celebration of the municipality, takes place in June when large processions of Corpus Xita represented by Mazahua and Otomi in the region.
